Damian Patocka celebrates his first career Late Model victory.
What won the race: Outside front-row starter Damian Patocka of Enid, Okla., grabbed his first-ever victory, leading all the way in Saturday's NCRA-sanctioned Hutch Nationals at the Kansas State Fairgrounds. Polesitter Delbert Smith finished second.
Key notes: Patocka was one pound above the legal limit. ... Kip Hughes was also a first-time NCRA winner in the tour's previous trip to Hutchinson on June 21; Hughes finished sixth. ... Chris Bratcher didn't start the feature.
