What won the race: Charlie Sandercock of Belleville, Ont., survived heavy late-race pressure from Lee Gill of Lafargeville, N.Y., to emerge victorious in the 30-lap Go Nuclear Late Model Challenge Series feature at Mohawk International Raceway. Sandercock, who earned $1,000 for topping the opener of a two-race weekend at the 4/10-mile oval, recorded his third straight triumph at Mohawk with the Crate Late Model tour dating back to 2014.
