What won the race: In a wild, lead-swapping finish, Cody Mahoney of Madison, Ind., nipped Jason Jameson of Lawrenceburg, Ind., on the final circuit of the 50-lap feature event, earning a $5,000 Spring 50 victory at Florence Speedway. Mahoney, the last of four different leaders, went under Jameson entering turn one on a final-lap restart, but Jameson regained the lead on the backstretch. Mahoney then dove low in turn three, slid in front of Jameson exiting turn four and hung on to win a near photo finish.

Quotable: "That last lap, I pretty much had to go for broke and go where Jameson didn't. Luckily we prevailed," Mahoney said. "I've lost so many of these races on the last lap ... finally I was able to put (it) together and seal the deal."

Key notes: Two late cautions, including on the final lap, set up the late-race dramatics. ... Mahoney, who restarted third with three laps remaining, notched the richest win of his career. ...
