What won the race: After a lead-swapping battle for the lead, polesitter Donald McIntosh of Dawsonville, Ga., pulled ahead of fellow front-row starter Mike Marlar of Winfield, Tenn., on lap 28 of 50 and paced the remaining distance for a $5,000 Southern Nationals Bonus Series victory at Crossville Speedway. Marlar and Cory Hedgecock both challenged McIntosh in the first series event at Crossville.
Quotable: "Man, that was something. I can't thank (Marlar) enough for racing me clean," McIntosh said. "I'm green on those slide jobs; that's something I've never had the opportunity to do. But man, what an awesome night."
Key notes: McIntosh scored his third special event victory of the season. ...
