What won the race: Ross Bailes of Clover, S.C., swept the night, setting fast time, winning his heat race and leading the entire 40-lap feature for a $2,000 paycheck on the opening night of Fastrak's 11th annual Triple Crown. Bailes won by .710 seconds, besting Ron Parker of Lawndale, N.C., who ran second for the final 25 laps.
Key notes: The caution-plagued race was slowed on six different occasions. ... Fourteen of the 25 starters finished on the lead lap. ...
