What won the race: Freddie Carpenter of Parkersburg, W.Va., outraced his son Tyler in a three-lap shootout at Ohio Valley Speedway to earn a career-high $12,000 victory in the Jim Dunn Memorial. The elder Carpenter won by a nose after a lap-47 caution set up the dramatic finish.
Key notes: Fast qualifier Tim Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va., led the first half of the race, but spun in turn three just after Tyler and Freddie Carpenter slipped by. ...
