Montana Dudley heads to a NeSmith victory at East Alabama.
What won the race: Montana Dudley of Phenix City, Ala., took his second NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series victory of the season Sunday night, capturing the Summer Sizzler at East Alabama Motor Speedway. Dudley crossed the finish line .670 of a second ahead of runner-up Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn.
Key notes: East Alabama hosted the third race of the tour's Alabama weekend. ... Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, Tenn., won Friday at Talladega Short Track and Shep Lucas of McKenzie, Ala., won Saturday at Penton Raceway.
On the move: Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn., started 11th and finished in the runner-up position.
