What won the race: Rhett Carter of Blackshear, Ga., completed an Early Bird weekend sweep at Needmore Speedway on Sunday. He earned $5,000 for Sunday's victory, adding it to a $2,000 triumph in Saturday's prelims. Jason Fitzgerald of Middleburg, Fla., finished second in Sunday's finale.
Key notes: Rhett Carter donated his Saturday earnings to an injured driver. ... Enduro division driver Bryanna Vincent was airlifted to a Thomasville hospital after suffering serious injuries in a racing accident. Her injuries were six broken ribs, broken collar bone, broken arm and punctured lung, the track reported. ... Needmore Speedway closed the 2016 season with its annual Early Bird weekend.
