What won the race: Devin Dixon of Apollo Beach, Fla., overtook Adam Bedenbaugh at North Florida Speedway and raced to a $3,000 Harvey Jones Memorial victory in the Late Model portion of the season-ending Turkey Trot.

Quotable: “We actually got a real good bite running low,” Dixon said. “I can’t say enough about this team. This is our seventh or eighth win and we’ve been hard on motors. But they never give up. This was a crate motor and we put it in to see what would happen.”

Key notes: The race was originally on the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, but Ken Kinney has folded the tour. ...
