What won the race: Regaining the lead on the last lap, polesitter Jason Covert of York Haven, Pa., overtook Kenny Moreland for a $3,000 victory in Port Royal Speedway's Super Late Model season opener. Covert went underneath Moreland in turns three and four on the final laps, winning by 0.182 seconds over Moreland, who inherited the lead when leader Dylan Yoder retired on lap 26.
