Greg Fore's team enjoys victory lane at Greenville Speedway.
What won the race: Inheriting the lead from race-long leader Grant Garrison of Walton, Ky., who had mechanical issues with just three laps remaining, Greg Fore of Greenville, Miss., led the rest of the way for a $2,000 NeSmith victory at his home track. Fore finished 2.243 seconds ahead of runner-up Chase Washington to claim the opening night victory in the Rumble in the Gumbo at Greenville Speedway.
Key notes: The event was the season opener for the NeSmith Series. ... Series action will continue Saturday at Greenville for the second night of the Rumble on the Gumbo. ...
