What won the race: Third-starting Jack Sullivan of Greenbrier, Ark., held off Wendell Wallace of Batesville, Ark., for a $2,000 Comp Cams victory at Diamond Park Speedway in Nashville, Ark. It marked his second consecutive CCSDS victory, his third of the season and 19th of his career.
Key notes: Sullivan's 19 series victories pulls him to within one win of tying Wallace on the all-time CCSDS win list. ... Through five series races, three drivers have wins, led by Sullivan who now has three victories; Kyle Beard of Truman, Ark., and Tim McCreadie of Watertown, N.Y., have one win apiece. … Bolstered by a third-place finish, Texan Zach McMillan increased his lead in the rookie of the year race over Louisiana’s Tanner Kellick, who finished 17th. … After announcing he'd stick with the World of Outlaws through this weekend's trip to the Carolinas, Billy Moyer Jr. of Batesville, Ark., scrapped those plans and opted to stay closer to home. He finished 20th after starting eighth.
