Anthony White tunes up before his $2,500 victory at Tazewell.
What won the race: Anthony White of Clinton, Tenn., won Saturday's rain-shortened UCRA visit to Tazewell Speedway, earning $2,500. Rain hit the track after a lap-27 caution for a backstretch crash between Jason Trammell and Philip Thompson, who were battling for second.
Key notes: White was making his first visit to Tazewell in 10 seasons. ... Officials attempted to restart the race after the lap-27 caution, but eventually gave up as rains continued. ... UCRA competitors will return to Tazewell on Aug. 5 for another $2,500-to-win show.
