Russ King led early and late for his Lernerville Speedway victory.
What won the race: Polesitter Russ King of Bristolville, Ohio, regained the lead from Bryce Davis on the 20th lap and led the rest of Friday's 30-lap RUSH Dirt Late Model Series touring feature for a $2,000 victory at Lernerville Speedway. Mike Pegher Jr. finished second while Davis, who led laps 7-19, ended up fifth.
Quotable: "I got surprised there. I thought we'd be on the bottom and before I knew it Bryce snuck around me," King said. "I was just trying to be patient. We bumped on a couple restarts and then I just slid him and he slid me back. It was fun. I hope he's not mad at me. I tried staying off of him and we just touched a little bit. That's the way it is.”
