Jack Sullivan heads to a $2,000 victory at Greenville Speedway.
What won the race: Defending series champion Jack Sullivan led all 35 laps Friday at Greenville Speedway for his fourth victory in the last five Comp Cams Super Dirt Series races. Sullivan took the checkers 1.7 seconds ahead of Robert Baker in becoming the tour's winningest driver.
Quotable: “It seems like feast of famine for me at this place,” Sullivan said. “Either I’m ending the night with a good run or I’m back in the pits trying to figure out how I’m going to fit it back in the trailer. It definitely feels great to finally get a win at this place.”
Key notes: Sullivan has a series-leading five victories in 2017 and 21 overall, one more than Wendell Wallace (he finished 10th). ... Eleven of 20 starters completed 35 laps in a race slowed by several early cautions. ... Polesitter Garrett Alberson slipped out of the top five after 10 laps and settled for sixth. ...
