What won the race: Rance Garlock of Three Springs, Pa., fought off challenges from Michael Lake and Dan Angelicchio to capture the third annual Sam Barley Memorial on Monday at Dog Hollow Speedway. Garlock's first Super Late Model victory at the track paid $4,000.
Key notes: Garlock earned a bit of redemption at Dog Hollow. He finished second in a Mason-Dixon Series race there May 19 after leading most of the race. ... Michael Lake pressured Garlock the first 15 laps before Dan Angelicchio took up the chase. ... Angelicchio got alongside Garlock after a lap-27 restart, but couldn't make the pass; Garlock pulled away after the final caution on lap 36. ...
