Garrett Alberson rides the high side towards victory at Greenville.
What won the race: Third-starting Garrett Alberson of Las Cruces, N.M., took the lead from Childress Racing teammate Chandler Petty on the fifth lap and led the rest of Sunday's Comp Cams Super Dirt Series race at Greenville Speedway. Alberson, who outran series points leader Jack Sullivan by 5.247 seconds in the caution-plagued feature, earned $2,500 for his second career victory on the Arkansas-based tour.
Quotable: “It was nice to wrap the weekend up with a win,” Alberson said. “Greenville can be a challenging place, but we had a really good car. I just had to keep my nose clean in the feature."
Key notes: Alberson's previous Comp Cams victory came last season at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. ...
