What won the race: Vindicated after mechanical woes knocked him out of the lead in the previous series event at Screven, Travis Pennington of Stapleton, Ga., picked up a $2,000 Fastrak touring victory in the Georgia Outlaw State Championships weekend opener. Pennington overtook fellow front-row starter Benji Hicks on the sixth lap and led the rest of the 30-lap main event.
