What won the race: Polesitter Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., answered a challenge from fellow front-row starter Gary Brown Jr. at Sioux Speedway for his first Tri-State Late Model Series victory. Brown slipped by amid traffic to lead a lap before Pospisil regained control and raced to victory.
Key notes: Super Late Models tackled Sioux Speedway’s half-mile oval for the first time ever and the tour's only visit of 2018. ... Nick Beyenhof started third after winning the first heat, but didn't finished and was credited with 18th. ... Jordan Heiman, who won the series opener in April, finished 10th after starting fourth. ... Andrew Kosiski failed to start the feature.
