What won the race: Taking the lead from polesitter Shannon Kuhn on the opening lap, second-starting Daryn Klein of Fairview Heights, Ill., went on to win Saturday's Midwest Big 10 Series feature at Highland Speedway. Klein earned $1,200 for the win, while Kuhn settled for second in front of series points leader Jose Parga.
Key notes: The win was the second Big 10 victory of both the season and career for Klein, who previously won May 26 at Lincoln (Ill.) Speedway. … It was the first of two stops at Highland for the Midwest Big 10 series. The tour returns Aug. 11. … Highland hosts the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals on July 7.
