Anvelink pocketed $1,250 in taking the checkers ahead of fellow front-row starter Paul Parker.

Key notes: Anvelink has a series-leading six career victories on the 2-year-old tour. ... Paul Parker ran second most of the way, but third-finishing Tom Naeyaert held the second spot for four laps following a lap-15 caution.
