What won the race: Earning his first career Southern All Star Series victory, hometown driver Tommy Kerr held off Blount Motorsports teammate Casey Roberts for a flag-to-flag victory in the Super Late Model portion of the Big Daddy 500. The fourth-starting Roberts pulled alongside the polesitter in turn two with three laps remaining but couldn't complete the winning pass.
Quotable: "I kept looking on the board and I seen that my teammate was in second ... and I started running hard," winner Tommy Kerr said. "Blount Motorsports is a heckuva Dirt Late Model race team. I'm so glad I got to drive this thing tonight and win this race."
Key notes: Kerr notched his first victory since June 3, 2017, in Schaeffer's Iron-Man Championship Series competition. ... Kerr finished third in Southern All Star points while running the tour in 2011 but never cracked victory lane. ...
