What won the race: Repeating last year's victory, polesitter Brandon Fouts of Kite, Ky., led all the way Saturday at Portsmouth (Ohio) Raceway Park for a $5,000 victory in the Boone Coleman Gator 50. Rod Conley and Jackie Boggs rounded out the podium in an unsanctioned event that drew 13 entries.
Key notes: Fouts, who also won the event in 2017, scored his second victory at Portsmouth Speedway this season. ... The victory guarantees Fouts a provisional starting spot for October's Dirt Track World Championship, the $100,000-to-win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series finale at Portsmouth. ... PRP also hosts the Lucas Oil tour to close out the month on June 30.
