What won the race: Earning his biggest victory with a flag-to-flag performance, Travis Budisalovich of Minneapolis, Minn., turned back challenges from Jimmy Mars and Mike Prochnow for a $4,000 victory Saturday in Red Cedar Speedway's 30-lap Punky Manor Challenge of Champions.

Key notes: Budisalovich, the Gondik Law Speedway championship, earned his ninth victory of the season. ... Mike Prochnow took second from Mars after a mid-race caution, but Mars regained the runner-up spot amid a tight three-way battle for the lead late in the race. ... Prochnow and Mars both got nearly side-by-side with Budisalovich on late-race restarts. ... Chad Mahder was running fifth when he slowed with two laps remaining. ... An early caution appeared for Lucas Kallenbach and Michael Keller. ... Denny Cutsforth stopped in turn four on the 13th lap. ... Last year's winner A.J. Diemel finished fifth.
