What won the race: Earning his biggest victory with a flag-to-flag performance, Travis Budisalovich of Minneapolis, Minn., turned back challenges from Jimmy Mars and Mike Prochnow for a $4,000 victory Saturday in Red Cedar Speedway's 30-lap Punky Manor Challenge of Champions.
Key notes: Budisalovich, the Gondik Law Speedway championship, earned his ninth victory of the season. ... Mike Prochnow took second from Mars after a mid-race caution, but Mars regained the runner-up spot amid a tight three-way battle for the lead late in the race. ... Prochnow and Mars both got nearly side-by-side with Budisalovich on late-race restarts. ... Chad Mahder was running fifth when he slowed with two laps remaining. ...
