What won the race: Inheriting the win at Tazewell Speedway after the top two finishers were disqualified by race officials Saturday, Michael Courtney of Knoxville, Tenn., claimed his second straight United Championship Racing Alliance victory. He pocketed $2,000. Kenny Kizzar was elevated to second, while Jesse Lowe was bumped to third.
Key notes: Following post-race tech, apparent winner Brandon Williams of Crossville, Tenn., and apparent runner-up Heath Hindman of Signal Mountain, Tenn., were both disqualified for violation of the United Championship Racing Alliance’s fuel policy. … Courtney is the tour’s first repeat winner this season.
