What won the race: Russ King of Bristolville, Ohio, passed Max Blair on the inside entering turn one on the 14th lap and then survived a green-white-checkered finish, to claim his second career Steel City Stampede victory at Lernerville Speedway. King outran Blair and Michael Norris in winning $3,000.

He come blowing through there on that restart and got me pissed off and I got my (stuff) together and started rolling,” said King. “Everybody was good, (Max) Blair and Norris, and it all shook out OK. I just got rolling a little bit there where they showed me. I’m not real smart, so they gotta show me where to run a lot of the time.”
