What won the race: Clint Keenan of Pataskala, Ohio, made a high-side pass of Corey DeLancey with about seven laps remaining Friday at Jackson County Speedway for a $1,000 Steel Block Late Model Series victory.
Key notes: Corey DeLancey of Parkersburg, W.Va., led most of the 25-lapper from the pole. ... After a mid-race restart, Keenan battled side-by-side with DeLancey for several laps, before taking the lead for good and racing to victory. ... Keenan was also a June 26 winner at Jackson County. ... DeLancey got sideways in the final set of turns coming to the checkered flag and settled for third. ... Jackson County had its first race since the backstretch guardrail and posts were ripped out and a concrete-block wall was added. ...
