What won the race: Fast qualifier Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn., cruised to his ninth career Topless Outlaw Series victory in Saturday night’s Topless 40 at 411 Motor Speedway. Taking the checkers ahead of Ronnie Johnson and Chase King, Hedgecock earned $2,500.
Key notes: Hedgecock's win marked his third of the season with the series, with one coming at Smoky Mountain Speedway in May and the other at I-75 Raceway in late July. … The Topless Outlaw Series made its first visit of 2020 to 411 Motor Speedway. … It’s the fourth visit in the fledgling second-year tour’s history. The series returns Oct. 31 for a $5,100-to-win event, its richest of the season.
