What won the race: Taking the lead with four laps remaining after the demise of race-long leader Willie Milliken, fellow front-row starter Dustin Mitchell of Pine Level, N.C., grabbed a $2,000 Fast Unified Engine Late Model Series victory Saturday at Halifax County Motor Speedway. Milliken spun while trying to lap Mason Price — his car owner — and elected to retire rather than restart on the tail.
