What won the race: Taking the lead from Jeremy Shaw on lap 11, polesitter Christian Hanger of Winchester, Tenn., led the final 30 laps for a Crate Racin’ USA victory, winning Friday’s weekend opener at Talladega Short Track. Hanger earned $2,000 in finishing ahead of Shaw and Cruz Skinner.
