What won the race: Polesitter Max Blair of Centerville, Pa., led all 30 laps of the Zimmer's United Late Model Series event Friday at Williams Grove Speedway. Blair wasn't seriously challenged en route to the $3,000 victory, the 30th of his career on the series.
Key notes: The event was a makeup of a rainout a week earlier. ... Blair's victory came in the third ULMS event of the season (Gregg Satterlee swept the previous weekend's opening events at Port Royal Speedway). ... Blair is the tour's all-time winningest driver. ... Bryan Bernheisel took a wild ride in heat action with a rollover accident that sent his car over the turn-one fence and outside the track. He suffered neck and back injuries was being treated at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, Pa (see DirtWire section for details). ...
