What won the race: Third-starting Austin Horton won Saturday's weather-delayed Crate Racin' USA main event at Talladega Short Track. Horton took the checkers ahead of an eighth-starting Jake Knowles for a $2,500 victory while pole-starting Christian Hanger, who led laps 1-44, finished third.
Key notes: Rain, hail and a tree falling in the parking lot that struck six vehicles (including race rigs) delayed Saturday night's action, which was the second of a doubleheader weekend at TST for the Crate Late Model tour. ...
