What won the race: Sliding ahead of race-long pacesetter Ross Bailes on the 29th circuit, second-starting Brandon Overton of Evans, Ga., rolled to the $5,000 Ultimate Southeast Series victory Friday at Natural Bridge Speedway. He took the checkers 2.133 seconds ahead of Bailes.
Key notes: The victory was Overton's seventh career series victory and second of the season. His first win came at Modoc (S.C.) Speedway on April 17.
