What won the race: Fifth-starting Jeff Rine of Danville, Pa., overtook race-long leader and polesitter Jim Bernheisel on the white-flag lap Tuesday and captured Selinsgrove Speedway's 75th Anniversary Race for a $5,075 payday. Rine swept around Bernheisel in turns three and four and pulled away on the final lap to win by 1.159 seconds.
Quotable: "I kept rolling that bottom and rolling that bottom, and I bounced the left front off the guardrails down there about two or three times. I didn't want to show him that top too early," Rine said. "And I got to two (laps) to go and I thought, 'Man, I've gotta make something happen on this top.' "
Key notes: A 13-time champion at the track, Rine captured his 113th career victory at Selinsgrove. ... Dan Stone slowed while running third on the 10th lap. ... Nathan Long spun inside turns 1-2 on the ninth lap. ... Jason Schmidt slowed on the frontstretch for a lap-six caution. ...
