Diemel of Elk Mound, Wis., overtook polesitter Don Shaw with two laps remaining Thursday at River Cities Speedway for a $1,592 victory in the Northern LateModel Racing Association finale. Rookie Mike Greseth overcame an eight-point deficit to top Shane Edginton for the series championship.
