What won the race: Second-starting Kyle Hardy of Stephens City, Va., outran polesitter Dan Angelicchio to capture the $3,000 Tom Smith Memorial at Dog Hollow Speedway on the Zimmer's United Late Model Northern Series.
Key notes: Hardy won his second event with a Zimmer’s-backed series this season. He won on the Southern tour at Trail-Way Speedway in York Haven, Pa., on July 16. … Hardy’s first-ever Zimmer’s ULMS win was Sept. 2, 2018 at Dog Hollow before the tour was split into Northern and Southern regions. … Hardy also won a RUSH Crate Late Model event at Dog Hollow this season. ...
