What won the race: Second-starting Justin Williams of Concord, Va., won Saturday's 60-lap Battle for the Bridge feature at Natural Bridge Speedway, earning his first career victory with the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge and a $10,000 top prize.
Key notes: Russell Erwin of Beaverdam, Va., and Tyler Bare of Rockbridge Baths, Va., traded second place several times before Erwin prevailed for good on lap 38, leaving Bare to settle for third. ... Dustin Mitchell, a three-time winner this season and the series point leader, finished fourth. ... The sixth of 12 scheduled races for the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge was slowed by three cautions and lasted 29 minutes; 13 competitors completed all 60 laps.
