What won the race: Turning back a late charge from seventh-starting Todd Cooney, outside front-row starter Andy Eckrich of Cosgrove, Iowa, grabbed his third career Hoker Trucking Series victory on Friday at Lee County Speedway. He topped Cooney by 0.329 seconds at the line.
Key notes: Eckrich led the entire distance after stealing the lead from pole-starting Curt Martin on the opening lap. … The 25-lapper had three early retirees; Bryan Moreland, Luke Pestka, and Tommy Elston.
