What won the race: Fourth-starting Chad Holladay of Muscatine, Iowa, collected his third Hoker Trucking Series victory in Friday’s 25-lap opener of a doubleheader weekend at West Liberty Raceway. He took the checkers ahead of pole-starting Todd Cooney and Jeremiah Hurst.

Quotable: "We started fourth, second row outside there, and I got to second pretty early and then the caution come out there and (Todd) Cooney was in the lead," Holladay said. "I got a good restart coming off (turn) four there and I had to go. I mean (I had) clean air. I did a little slide job and it worked out and kind of set sail from there.”

Key notes: Chad Holladay notched his second Hoker Trucking Series victory of the season and third of his career. He previously won June 17 at C.J. Speedway in Columbus Junction, Iowa. ...
