What won the race: Continuing his spectacular season marked by many wins from mid-pack, 10th-starting Ricky Thornton Jr. again outclassed the field on Saturday to captured the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series season finale on the final night of the World Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte. The Chandler, Ariz., native led the final 24 of 50 laps for the $25,000 top prize. He topped Mike Marlar by 1.121 seconds.
