What won the race: Overcoming an early challenge from Seth Daniels, second-starting Zack Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va., led all the way in Friday's $5,000 Impact RaceGear 40 at Moler Raceway Park. Dohm captured his first Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series victory of the season and the third of his career — his first since June 29, 2018, at 201 Speedway in Sitka, Ky.
Key notes: Thirteenth-starting Josh Rice took second for good on lap 24 and trailed Dohm the remainder of the 40-lapper, finishing 1.191 seconds back. ... Rice's brother, James, battled Josh for the runner-up spot between laps 19-23 before settling for third. ... Series points leader Rusty Schlenk completed the top five. ... Pole-starting Seth Daniels was sixth. ... Ryan Missler improved 10 spots and came home ninth. ...
