What won the race: Second-starting Blair Nothdurft of Renner, S.D., earned a commanding sweep of the action in Friday's 20-lap Repairable Vehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series opener at Fairmont Raceway. Nothdurft stormed to the $1,500 victory, his third win in the month of August on the Repairable Vehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series and the 11th of his career, moving him one shy of Gary Brown Jr. for second on the tour's all-time win list.
Key notes: It was Nothdurft's second straight Tri-State triumph at Fairmont's sprawling half-mile after earning a $2,400 victory there last fall. … Third-starting Corey Zeitner grabbed the runner-up spot from Trevor Anderson on lap four and chased Nothdurft the rest of the way, finishing 0.936 of a second back. ...
